Runaway horse incident injures two in Hamilton group

Mrs Iva Keebler and Mrs Hamilton suffer broken bones and shock after a runaway driven by W G Hamilton’s team tears along Main Street then collides with a fence. Mr Hamilton bruised but not seriously hurt, others expected to recover. Earlier, another loose team caused minor damage on Fifth Street.

Club Committees Named for Coming Year

President Richardson of the Commercial Club announces two committees for the new year. On entertainment the chairman is Coulut Martini with Chas. DeFreest Kenneth Keebler Dr. Bishop R. C. Reid H. J. Suburban Train Crash Kills Three in Illinois

Chicago fans out details of a fatal rail collision at Stieger Illinois when the Chicago and Eastern Illinois through train from St Louis struck a suburban train. Three were killed including Ferdinand Hoyn and George Epstein with seven injured and some may die. The crash wrecked engines and the first coach of the suburban train, investigators suspect an open switch that allowed the through train into the siding.
