Feasibility study weighs multi use center with pools at Cahoon Park
A 2009 report by 292 Design and Ballard King & Associates examined a 77 683 square foot recreation center at Cielo Grande Park with an eight lane lap pool plus a leisure pool. It estimated costs near 19.94 million dollars and projected annual revenues of 1.43 million, suggesting bonds for funding and possible nonprofit partnerships. The study noted Cahoon Park Pool’s aging condition and did not base Cahoon pool recommendations solely on marketing factors.
