Dragway to reopen near Roswell with Friday street races
Alien City Dragway LLC plans a late July or early August opening at the former Walker Air Force Base site four miles from Roswell International Airport. Rob Coon says Friday street races for youth and Saturday drag events will feature safety gear, timing devices, and on-site emergency support as mayor and police note prior incidents.

Dexter Students Make Toothpaste in Summer Science Class
Dexter Elementary students in Tami Garcia’s math and science summer school created their own toothpaste as a science project.
