Youth Held In Farmington Bank Hold Up
A 17 year old Farmington youth A A Whitson sat in a Santa Fe jail recounting how he waited up the road while a friend of his sister robbed a Farmington bank of four thousand dollars. He was arrested in Silverton Colorado two days after the robbery and pleaded guilty to federal charges at a Farmington preliminary hearing. Whitson is held on five thousand dollars bond awaiting a federal grand jury decision in Albuquerque. Police and FBI continue to search for the other man who likely was with Whitson’s sister.
