Miss New Mexico prepares for Miss America trip in September
Jessica Burson, 20, who won Miss New Mexico in Roswell on June 28, will compete as one of 50 contestants for Miss America in September in Atlantic City. Burson, from Roswell, is a former Miss Roswell and 2012 Goddard High School alumna active in 4 H and FFA. She earned about 10000 in scholarship money plus the interview trophy.
