Woman suffers medical incident before driving into pole
A 67 year old woman lost control of a Mercury Sable near the Wal Mart on North Main Street Roswell. She struck a light pole and entered oncoming lanes then drove into a parking area between Panda Express and Sprint. She was taken to Eastern New Mexico Medical Center with moderate injuries. Police say a medical issue likely caused the crash. No pedestrians or other vehicles were hit. Debris and a toppled pole prompted temporary southbound lane closure.

Street closures planned for upcoming railroad work
Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway pavement work will cause short term closures in Roswell.
