Roswell Federal Building Delayed to March Start
Roswell’s new four story federal building may start by March as plans await General Services Administration approval in Washington. The $1.4 million project between Fifth and Sixth streets on Richardson covers about 65 000 square feet and will house all federal agencies in Roswell. Construction bids will be called after final plan approval.

Kozlov dies in Moscow former Soviet official
Frol R Kozlov, Khrushchev era No 2 and Brezhnev successor in 1960, died in Moscow at 56. A metallurgical engineer, he served as first deputy premier and party secretary under Khrushchev before being dropped from the Presidium last year. The Tass report notes his illness and past strokes.
