A new enterprise plans construction of an alfalfa meal factory. The project outlines a manufacturing facility to process alfalfa into meal for feed用途, signaling local agricultural industry expansion and job opportunities.
J A Brubaker of Kansas City will head the new alfalfa meal plant near Roswell with a 40000 dollar cost and a start capacity of 75 tons daily. Fifteen acres southeast of town adjoin M L Pierce property as site for a three story brick building. The plant aims to produce a balanced ration feed with Kaffir corn included while a thousand ton warehouse is planned and employment numbers are not yet announced. Secretary J A Graham of the Roswell Commercial Club touted the deal after a Kansas City trip and praised Brubaker's business record.
G L Brooks elected director at Mercia Club joint meeting. H E Fox sold city interests and will move to British Columbia.
