John S Powers, Roswell agent of Phillips Petroleum, was robbed of $319.85 in a daylight hold up yesterday afternoon. Powers and Phillips driver George Keeling were at the warehouse when a gunman rose from the rear of Powers car and demanded the money. The bandit escaped with currency and checks. police have few leads as officers work through the night.
