Plans for POW release begin next week in Vietnam

Secretary Laird announced Project Homecoming will start next week with more than 100 prisoners to return within two weeks. POWs will fly from Hanoi to Clark Air Base via a Laos route, with no stop in Vientiane as Kissinger had suggested.

Pentagon hints at possible strikes after Laos Cambodia cease fire

Washington hints U S warplanes may bomb Ho Chi Minh trail and other targets in Laos and Cambodia after the cease fire takes effect Saturday. City of Roswell dropped the unlawful Sunday liquor sale charge against Willie S. Albarez and Joe Albarez, owners of the Flamingo Club and Package Store, after a brief municipal court hearing before Judge Earl S. Tankersley. City Attorney James B. Rep. Max Coll of Roswell pushes legislation to replace bastardy with parentage in state law. Duke City to Light Flame of Hope at Airport

Albuquerque to honor prisoners of war missing in action and those killed in Vietnam with a Flame of Hope atop a 10 foot pillar at the Albuquerque International Airport.
