The United States through agent W M Reed files in the Recorder’s Office a notice of appropriation of Rio Hondo water in New Mexico for irrigation of about 12000 acres. Water to be diverted to Hondo Reservoir via a canal from section 34, township 115S range 22E, with a capacity of 1000 second feet. Construction under act of June 17, 1902, began October 1902. map exhibit included.
