Military drill at New Mexico Military Institute tomorrow

A public drill of the battalion of the New Mexico Military Institute on Main Street between Fifth and First will be held at four o clock tomorrow afternoon. The cadets plan a Butts manual of arms exhibition in the courthouse square after the parade. London and Paris Cut Discount Rates in Alarmed Markets

London and Paris reduced discount rates as financial conditions improved. The Bank of England cut its rate from 5 to 4 percent, citing widespread improvement. Paris also trimmed its rate from 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 percent amid improving financial conditions.
