A gas explosion at a metropolitan steam laundry caused a hotel fire in Marion Indiana. Three people burned to death two fatally hurt and ten injured as the blast blew walls apart and collapsed upper floors. The hotel proprietor Charles Beitel and manager Mr Bender are among the casualties, with others including James Devlin and a cafe proprietor.
