Soil group to forgo environmental impact statement
The U S Department of Agriculture Soil Conservation Service will not prepare an environmental impact statement for waste control at animal confinement facilities in Chaves Eddy and Lea counties. A preliminary assessment found no detrimental impacts. notice has been sent to the EPA. Public review at the SCS office in Albuquerque. no action for 30 days.
