Yates Denies Nickson Hotel Sale Rumor in Roswell

Artesia businessman Harvey E. Yates refutes reports that industrialist Robert O. Anderson would buy the Nickson Hotel in the 100 block of East Fifth Street. The Nickson is co owned by Yates and Charles N. Denton. Denton could not be reached. Anderson, ARCO chairman, recently bought much of Lamy and plans to rebuild the Pink Garter Saloon modeled after his Silver Dollar in Tinnie.
