Roswell Man Arrested Outside Hospital in Vallejos Killing

Roswell resident Richard Herrera 22, hospitalized after a leg wound, was arrested outside St. Marys Hospital and charged with murder in the Jan. 5 Flamingo Club shooting that killed Joe Vallejos 26. Herrera was arraigned, denied bond, and ordered held for a Jan. 24 preliminary hearing before Magistrate John McLemore. He was returned to hospital for protective custody due to medical needs.
