Army cutback at White Sands over two years
Col. Robbie Griffin announced a reorganization at White Sands Missile Range will reduce about 200 positions over 1973 1974 and 1975. By June 1973 about 40 military and 37 civilian jobs at WSMR will go with further layoffs planned and details sent to affected personnel.
