Panel seeks tax rolls for two firms in Roswell
Roswell's finance committee weighed two bond related requests from Charter Bank Northwest and Leprino Foods aimed at placing their properties on city tax rolls. Charter Bank seeks rate relief and faster principal payments for the First National Bank Tower bonds, while Leprino requests bonds to fund its South Roswell plant with tax exemption ending after a projected 15 year period. City officials warn the city could wait decades for any tax revenue and may use the issue as leverage in negotiations.
