Trial set for man accused in double murder in Carlsbad
Coley Ingram twenty says he has not met his attorney before his trial on two counts of first degree murder and related charges for the December 14 2000 Carlsbad killings of Ronnie Lujan and Anthony Granado. Witnesses accuse accomplices Tracy Johnson and Jamal Young of the shootings while Ingram claims Johnson fired.

New Mexico delays second area code to 2003
The New Mexico Public Regulation Commission ruled that the 505 area code remains in effect at least until June 2003. A second code 575 is postponed in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe regions while federal number conservation efforts are studied. The order notes it may take years before a second code is needed.
