Mrs. Neoma Newlin Receives Service to Mankind Award
Elkins resident Mrs. Neoma Newlin was honored by the Roswell Sertoma Club with the Service to Mankind Award at the Chew Den Restaurant. Recognized for aiding about 40 foster children plus her five biological children, she runs a ranch and drove 40 miles daily to educate the children. She and her husband moved to Elkins after World War II and she continues foster care along with Sunday school work.
