New Mexico lawmakers and governor unveil 2025 budget plans
Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and the Legislature released their budget blueprints for the 2025 fiscal year. The bipartisan Legislative Finance Committee backs a $10.1 billion plan starting July 1, up $566 million or 5.9 percent from the current year, with reserves held at 30 percent.

Recyclable caps turn into benches via ABC Promise Partnership
Roswell groups obtain benches made from recycled caps through Green Tree Plastics in Evansville Indiana. The program began in 2010 to teach youth about recycling and requires about 200 pounds of caps per bench. Southwest Printers accepts caps and lids and assists groups in collecting donations and organizing the process.
