Mr B Hosts Schoolwide Wedding Reception for Students

SPS to Build $1 Million Service Center in Roswell

Construction has begun on a five acre site adjacent to 902 E Bland St for a new SPS service center in Roswell. The one story facility will provide about 40 000 square feet of floor space and house multiple departments as Rex Brown notes Roswell's growth and need to expand.

New SPS Center Plans Expansion at Bland Site

Reading guide stores substation relay and operations moving to a new facility set for completion in September. It will house the meter transformer and vehicle repair departments and serve as headquarters for lines and service. About 60 employees will work there. land purchased from Pecos Valley Compress Co. for the $1 million project. General contractor Holloway Construction Co. and architect Rembert C. Alley Jr. led the project, replacing older facilities.

Mescalero Apache Tribal President Wendell Chino says opponents of Indian ownership in liquor, horse racing, and gambling ignore history.
