Plane Crashes in Snow Near Gallup In Burned Wreckage Found
Ground teams located the badly burned light plane wreckage five miles northeast of Coyote Canyon about 30 miles north of Gallup after a snowstorm. The two aboard, Lawrence Essig and John R. Parsley, were unaccounted for as crews searched rugged terrain. The Piper Cub N1159C was reported taking off from Farmington toward Grants last night.
