A dynamite car exploded yesterday afternoon at Jackson telegraph station on the Great Ogden Lucin cutoff, killing twenty five and injuring fifteen. The blast followed a collision of two freight trains blamed on air brake failure, wrecking the surrounding half mile and shaking Terrace town twelve miles away. Eight of the dead and five of the injured were Americans. the rest were steel laborers. Of the 46 people present, only 21 escaped.
