The Women's Equal Rights Legal Defense and Education Fund seeks to stop Save-On Drug Stores from gender separating toys for boys and girls and from gendered ads. Seven girls ages 5 to 11 are plaintiffs. Attorney Gloria Allred argues the practice is sex stereotyping that limits children choices. Save-On general manager Lyle Call defends displays as guiding customers of both sexes.
