Roswell moves to update emergency preparedness reports
The city and Chaves County begin drafting an RFP to create THIRA and SPR assessments for Roswell and surrounding townships. The plan focuses on threats such as fires floods and earthquakes plus risks like water reservoir failures and wastewater plant malfunctions. A recent weekend snow event tested the wastewater system and prompted response by city crews and Xcel Energy.
