National VFW commander Cooper T. Holt of Tennessee urged more U S aid to Arab states than to Yugoslavia or India saying Tito and Nehru were ungrateful and the Arab aid could yield greater benefits. He spoke in Santa Fe during a New Mexico VFW visit and at a legislators dinner. He advocated a revolving fund using VA insurance surplus to back four percent housing loans for veterans. He criticized foreign aid as a give away and claimed Tito canceled a U S visit.
