Roswell Library Youth Dept Sees High April Book Circulation
Roswell Public Library reports 3,825 books circulated to kindergartners through sixth grade in April. National Library Week brought seven schools with 11 classes visiting, viewing 600 display books sponsored by the American Association of University Women. Summer Reading begins June 1 for all students through sixth grade, with weekly Saturday Story Hour. New children’s books include titles on geology, history, science, and biographies by authors such as Waltrip, Nightingale, and Gifford.

The executive council of the New Mexico Dental Association approved a two year basic medical science course at the University of New Mexico. The decision was made at a special council meeting before the start of the three day convention in Albuquerque today.

Officer Election Highlights Junior Book Club Luncheon
