Roswell Symphony Signs BMI Affiliation for Wide Music Access
The Roswell Symphony Orchestra signed a contract with BMI granting access to BMI’s vast catalogue for public performance. The deal, signed by Arthur L. Johnson, links 18 000 composers and 8 000 publishers to the orchestra. BMI licenses music across concert hall works, jazz, folk, rock, and film scores, including pieces by major composers and even 20th century winners of major awards. BMI also represents theater music and has supplied scores for several high grossing films, with BMI music featured in eight Oscar winning films over the past eight years.
