A fireworks plant near Redondo Beach California exploded with violent force shortly before midnight. Homes nearby were damaged and three workers were treated for injuries while a watchman escaped harm. County Receives 9229 From Grazing Fees

Auto Accident South of Roswell Injures Lubbock Woman
A snowstorm near Roswell caused a highway crash 1/4 mile south of the Fairbank station on the Roswell Dexter road injuring Mrs. E A Middleton of Lubbock. She suffered a broken palatal bone and four front teeth were displaced. She was treated at a local doctor’s office. The Middleton car hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Mrs. Lee Nowack of Dexter, who had stopped to clear snow from her windshield. Sheriff’s deputies investigated.
