Sheriff Dan Webster said one man was held in connection with the pistol murder of Juan Martinez 37 of Fort Sumner. The arrest followed a 9 p.m. shooting near a residential area after an argument. Martinez died after being taken to the hospital. he was shot in the back with a .38 pistol.
