Attorney General Toney Anaya backs amendments to HB211 introduced by Rep. Thomas Horan to remove a provision that voids actions by public bodies for meeting law violations. The change targets the current statute that nullifies noncompliant decisions.
The Senate voted 91 to 2 to approve an emergency natural gas measure and sent it to the House. It would allow the President to divert gas to areas hit by cold weather and lift price controls until August 1, with House leaders considering the Senate-passed version today.
