Mrs. Zudie Teague, 89, Route 1 Box 214 northeast of Roswell, died Saturday at 1 15 pm in a Roswell hospital. Funeral services pending at Ballard Funeral Home. Born Sept 12, 1880 in Comanche Texas to Guinn and Dillie A Poyner Neatherlin, she helped run the first commercial dairy in Hobbs. Survived by six daughters Ada Lee Ferguson Ida Jackson Edna Hamilton Bessie Manning Irene Griffith Genevieve Whitley. four sons Dell Joyce R L Clyde Teague. 58 grandchildren. Three Bad Check Charges Filed Against Paul Nichols

Paul Weldon Nichols, 31, of Springfield Missouri, faced three counts of issuing worthless checks over $25 at a magistrate court preliminary hearing. A conspiracy charge was filed last week. Nichols was bound over to the 5th District Court by Magistrate Clyde McKee with bond set at 2500 dollars. he remains jailed.
