Texas youth found dead in Ruidoso motel

John Wilken Grisham, 18, a Lubbock High School student, was found dead early this morning in a West Winds Motel room in Ruidoso. Five other high school boys shared the room since Monday. The Chapel of Roses ambulance answered a 4:20 am call. death time and cause unavailable. Coroner's report due afternoon. Investigating officers Paul Lukens and James Fitzgerald. Grisham's mother is Betty Grisham of Lubbock. The body held at Chapel of Roses Mortuary pending arrangements.
