Roswell woman pleads guilty in embezzlement case
Sherry C. Eckel 65 of Roswell pleaded guilty in Carlsbad to embezzlement over $20,000, in a deal that dropped another drug-related charge. A nine-year sentence was suspended. she will serve three years of supervised probation and two years of parole in a case that also spurred a civil suit by her former employer Dr. Ben Smith alleging misused Botox and related drugs.
