Tessa Cockrell daughter of Steven and Kelly Cockrell of Roswell has been chosen as a New Mexico State PEO scholarship recipient for the 2012 2013 academic year She is a 2009 Valley Christian High graduate and is finishing her senior year at the University of New Mexico majoring in nursing The PEO Sisterhood supports educational opportunities for women through six philanthropies and two statewide New Mexico scholarships are available for junior and senior college students and for Cottey College attendees.
