Twenty five years ago the Roswell and Goddard high school marching bands were featured on a KENW-TV Channel 3 special. The program, produced by Eastern New Mexico University Portales Broadcast Center, covers the 1986 87 Southeast New Mexico Marching Band Festival held in Bulldog Stadium Artesia and includes bands from Artesia Carlsbad Hobbs Lovington Portales and Clovis high schools. Other festival participants from Dexter Park Junior High and Artesia and Carlsbad junior high schools appear in a second You Should Know broadcast planned for early January.
