Fleming Rites Set At Ballard Chapel For William C Fleming

Trains Hit Auto Killing Two Women in Blue Island

Two women were killed and a man critically injured when the Grand Trunk Line’s International Limited struck an automobile in suburban Blue Island. Victims were Mrs. Mary Metzinger, 55, Fargo North Dakota, and Leona Metzinger, about 30. Injured was Leon Metzinger, 55. Roswell Decorated Homes Tour Seeks Car Volunteers

Claude Simpson of the Roswell Chamber of Commerce said two cars were pledged for the 30 minute Christmas decorated homes tour at 6 30 Sunday evening with more expected. Those without cars should meet at the Chamber by 6 30 to join the tour and transportation will be provided. Winners of the Christmas decoration contest will be announced after January 1.

In Flemington New Jersey prosecutors say Hauptmann possessed about 49600 more than declared income over two years anchoring the 50000 ransom paid by John F. Condon. Santa Fe Cops Hold Chicago Forger

Santa Fe police and state patrol arrested Jack Rose in Santa Fe following Chicago warrants charging larceny and forgery of bonds totaling eighteen thousand dollars.
