Deputies face discipline over high speed motorcycle chase
Two Chaves County deputies Pedro Silva and Jacob Sanchez face discipline for involvement in a high speed pursuit of Andrew J. West 22 that began near Pine Lodge Road on November 28. West reached speeds over 140 mph on U S 70 and was later stopped and held on a 1000 dollar surety bond. Sheriff Britt Snyder noted West had prior speeding records and a dismissed case.
