Comissioners mull tax rebates for low income residents
Roswell Daily Record reports Roswell area commissioners will hold a January 2025 public hearing to consider a property tax rebate for low income residents who file a return and owe taxes on their primary residence. The rebate is not state mandated and few counties, including Santa Fe and Los Alamos, currently offer it. Eligibility targetsModified gross income under 24000 with other criteria outlined by the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department.
