New Mexico OKs reopening of underground nuclear dump

Regulators authorize restart of operations at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant, the nation’s only underground nuclear waste repository, nearly three years after a radiation leak. New Mexico Health Exchange Letter Attributed To Governor disputed

A BeWell NM draft letter praising the federal health care law circulated as if sent by Gov. Susana Martinez. The health exchange office says the draft was created without Martinez’s knowledge or approval. The letter, addressed to House Leader Kevin McCarthy, was not sent and remained unreleased.
