Leaders back air authority concept for Roswell base
Chaves County leaders voiced support for creating a regional air authority to govern Roswell International Air Center. The RIAC Task Force, formed by the Roswell Chaves County Economic Development Corp, aims to market and develop the 4000 acre site as an industrial and commercial hub following feasibility studies. The move requires New Mexico Legislature approval.
