The Roswell Police identify the male found in a shallow grave at East 12th Street via dental records from the Office of the Medical Investigator. A person of interest Antonio Orlando Romero Jr. 22, also known as Landito, is sought, described as 5 feet 5 inches, 115 pounds with brown eyes and hair.

First Gay Marriage Licenses Issued in Folties County
Folties County Clerk’s Office issued marriage licenses to gay couples for the first time after New Mexico Supreme Court affirmed gay marriage. By 4:50 p.m. two couples had licenses. the first couple was Curtis Folts and Phillip Dorst, together five years, as Dorst plans name change. Chief Deputy Jeff Ortega said staff will follow the law and serve the public.
