Madrid reports wounded suspect in Carrero Blanco killing
A Madrid newspaper said police arrested a wounded 19-year-old believed to be one of three terrorists who assassinated Premier Luis Carrero Blanco. The paper claimed he was shot in the cheek in a Madrid apartment and matched descriptions of men who rented a cellar near the blast site.

Roswell Votes Bond for Storm Sewer on Second Street
Roswell City Council in a special session voted to pursue a 12 million bond issue to fund a storm sewer system along Second Street from Sunset Avenue to the railroad tracks with about 1 million for drainage improvements and 200 thousand for central business district connections. The measure goes to a March election. The council also approved a mobile home park rezoning near Atkinson Avenue and Alameda Street, a golf course pamphlet contract, and an ordinance regulating burning in two city fire zones.
