Roswell group to bring home health care jobs to Region VI
A memorandum of agreement between Region VI Housing Authority and Comfort Keepers premieres an in home care program for residents. The partnership aims to provide in home care services and create welfare to work opportunities with pay of nine dollars per hour. Information sessions are set for January 18 and January 24 at local extension offices.

Hagerman Man Charged in Large Livestock Theft Case
A 27-year-old Hagerman man Daniel De la Cruz was booked in Chaves County Detention Center on Thursday accused of more than 140 felony counts including larceny of livestock forgery tampering with evidence and transporting stolen livestock. He was arrested at his Hagerman home and held on a 25000 cash bond after a county grand jury indicted him on 50 third degree larceny counts 16 third degree forgery 59 fourth degree tampering counts 16 transport of stolen livestock and one petty misdemeanor.
