Hearing Postponed for Cloudcroft Man in Kidnapping Case

German Shepherd Shot Dead In Front Yard
A German Shepherd named Vixen was shot in the front yard of the Graham home in the Berrendo area around 4:30 a.m. The owner pursued a pickup with two men and a pistol and shotgun, waited with them until a sheriff's deputy arrived, and said charges may be pressed. No names released as investigators proceed.

Salman in serious condition after New Mexico crash
State Rep. David Salman 38, House majority floor leader, remained in very serious condition but off the critical list after a two vehicle crash north of Las Vegas.
