DiLu zio outlines plant possibility in Roswell test plan
DiLu zio, staff director of the U S Office of Saline Water, said a Roswell brackish water test plant could have 500 gallons per hour capacity. He spoke in Albuquerque with Sen Clinton Anderson on peaceful uses of nuclear energy for water conversion. Veteran oilman Bert Aston dies in Roswell
Roswell resident Charles Albert Bert Aston eighty four died at Sunset Villa Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Services set Saturday at 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with ministers Rev. Robert Maxon and Dr. Austin H. Dillon. Aston, born December 21 1880 in Pender Nebraska, lived in Iowa Oklahoma City and Roswell where he engaged in farming ranching and oil. He supported local projects and the YMCA and left a wife Esther H. Aston, three sons Charles Rogers Lincoln, five grandchildren. Pallbearers listed with honorary names.
