Record oil flow set for southeast New Mexico fields

The New Mexico Oil Conservation Commission set an 80 barrels per unit per day allowable for southeast New Mexico for January and February, up from 75 and above the June 70 level. Northwest fields retain 100 barrels per unit per day. Industry spokesmen urged 85 barrels. officials cited gas waste control and refinery capacity improvements.
