Work May Begin on Honda Irrigation Project

Engineer W. M. Reed returned from Carlsbad with news that a preliminary survey for rebuilding the irrigation system damaged by flood is complete. Roswell Fraternal Order of Eagles to Build New Lodge

The Roswell Aerue of Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 704 buys a corner lot at Richardson Avenue and First Street to erect a 50 by 100 foot artificial stone two story building. Ground floor houses reception, reading, gym, billiards, and potential ball room. upstairs lodge room. a 50 by 98 foot park fronting the building for athletics. The order, seven months old, has grown to 125 members under Deputy Organizer Dr E M Fisher, and promises the territory’s finest lodge room upon completion.

Boston Tea Party Anniversary Observed in Boston

In Boston mass today patriotic and historical societies held exercises marking the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party of December 16 1773. The event saw tea destined for the colonists dumped into the harbor by Bostonians disguised as Indians led by Paul Revere and others. The Cole's Inn episode now Hancock Tavern hosted the organization before the raid on ships in the harbor.
