Roswell High School Coyotes were honored at the Chaves County Administrative Center chamber after their 41 to 22 win over Artesia High School Bulldogs in the 5A final at the Wool Bowl on Nov 30. Mayor Timothy Jennings lauded the team and noted their example for the community.

New Mexico Parks Offer Free Day Use for Residents
New Mexico state parks will offer free day use to residents in 2025. From October 1 to April 30, visitors with a New Mexico ID or license plate can enter at no charge, including walkers and cyclists. Peak season May 1 to September 30 retains a $5 resident day-use fee.
